Summer Fruit Cake

2 cups sugar
2 cups plain flour
2 teaspoons soda
2 eggs
1 can Fruit Cocktail
1/2 cup brown sugar
1 cup chopped pecans

Sift together sugar, flour and soda
add 2 eggs and juice of 1 can of Fruit Cocktail, mix well
add in the Fruit Cocktail
Bake in 350 degree oven for 40 minutes
When cake is done sprinkle 1/2 cup brown sugar and 1 cup chopped pecans over top
Pour the following over the cake:
1 cup sugar
1 cup Pet milk
1 stick butter
Bring to a boil and pour over cake
