Southern Sweet Iced Tea
1 gallon water
5 family sized Lipton tea bags
2 cups granulated sugar (more if you like it sweeter)
In a large saucepan, bring water to a boil
remove from heat and add tea bags
Allow the tea to steep for 15 minutes,(longer for stronger tea)
While the tea is hot, add sugar stirring to dissolve it completely
After tea has cooled, serve it over ice in tall glasses
