RECIPE INDEX
CRISPY FRIED CHICKEN
3 lbs frying chicken pieces
3/4 cup all purpose flour
1 1/2 tsp salt
3/4 tsp paprika
1/4 tsp pepper
1 egg
water
oil
Wash chicken and pat dry
Combine flour and seasonings in a bag
Shake chicken pieces a few at a time to coat
Dip coated chicken in egg beaten with a few tablespoons of water
Shake in flour mixture again
Put oil of your choice in heavy skillet
Fry chicken pieces 20-30 minutes or until done
turning as needed.
