CHOCOLATE POUND CAKE
2 sticks butter
1/2 cup shortening
3 cups sugar
5 eggs
3 cups flour
1/4 to 1/2 cup cocoa
1/4 to 1/2 tsp salt
1/2 tsp baking powder
1 1/4 cup milk
1 tbs vanilla
Cream butter, shortening and sugar together
Beat in eggs one at a time
Sift flour, cocoa, salt and baking powder together
Add alternately with milk to cream mixture
Stir in vanilla, blend well
Pour batter into greased tube pan
Bake at 325 degrees for 1 hour and 45 minutes
